1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules and guidelines for using the PropIntel™ platform. It supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
PropIntel is designed for real estate professionals — investors, brokers, developers, site selectors, lenders, and related roles. You may use the platform to:
- Search, filter, and analyze property data for legitimate business purposes
- Score properties using AI deal profiles
- Build lead lists and manage your pipeline
- Export data within your plan's limits
- Access the B2B API within your rate limits (if applicable)
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 Data Abuse
- Systematically downloading or scraping data beyond normal platform use
- Using automated tools (bots, scripts, crawlers) to extract data
- Circumventing rate limits, export caps, or usage quotas
- Redistributing or reselling PropIntel data without a B2B API data license
- Using the platform solely to build a competing dataset
3.2 Platform Abuse
- Sharing account credentials (use team seats for shared access)
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
- Attempting to access features or data not included in your subscription tier
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to security@propintel.co instead)
- Overloading the platform with excessive API calls or large batch operations beyond plan limits
3.3 Harmful Use
- Using property data to harass, stalk, or intimidate property owners
- Engaging in predatory lending or fraudulent real estate practices
- Using AI scoring results to discriminate against individuals based on race, religion, national origin, sex, or other protected characteristics
- Misrepresenting PropIntel data or AI scores as legal, financial, or appraisal advice
3.4 Content
- Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
- Posting offensive, defamatory, or illegal content in shared workspaces or CRM notes
- Impersonating other users, PropIntel staff, or third parties
4. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request to cease the prohibited activity
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to law enforcement where required
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action at our sole discretion.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@propintel.co.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with 30 days notice via email or platform notification.
